The Plainbuilt assessment is for teams without an in-house AI person. It turns the work you repeat into a practical plan: what to simplify, what to automate, what's worth adding, and where to start.
Tap what your team still does by hand. You'll get a rough number right now, and the real one from a call to the Plainbuilt Line.

Summary
Prepared for ██████ · 12-person agency
Two account leads write up every client call by hand and rebuild the same Friday report each week. Web leads wait about half a day for a first reply.
Call notes and the Friday report stop being anyone's job this week. New leads get a real reply within minutes, sent from your inbox.

The quick wins, and what they hand back
Stop writing call notes by hand
Quick win 1 of 3 · about 3 hrs a week back
Fathom, Team plan, 2 seats. It joins your Zoom, Meet, and Teams calls, then writes the summary and action items.
About $30 a month, billed annually. The free plan is built for one person, and your two leads need to search and share each other's client calls.
The Business tier. Its CRM sync isn't worth $10 more per seat until your team works out of a CRM every day.
Your first week
Four days, about an hour a day
Call notes. Set up Fathom for both account leads and let it take Monday's calls.
Report inputs. List the six numbers the Friday report uses and where each one lives today.
Dashboard. Build it from Tuesday's list. On Friday, send the report from it next to the old one.
Lead replies. Turn on the instant reply for web leads, then send yourself a test lead.
After week one: the new CRM is worth doing, but it's a project, not a quick win. It gets its own section with a rough scope.
Example plan with made-up numbers. Tools and prices are checked fresh for every report.
You talk through the work. I sort through the options. You get a practical plan for what to change, what to use, and where to start, without having to research AI tools yourself.
Call the Plainbuilt Line whenever it suits you. It's an AI voice agent built around what today's tools can actually fix, so it listens for the work worth changing. No prep or technical knowledge needed. Just describe the work as you know it.
I review your conversation and map out where your team's time is going. Then I weigh the options by effort and payoff: what a simple tool could handle, what needs a better process, and what's worth automating. Within 48 hours, you get a written plan with specific recommendations, estimated time savings, and clear first steps.
Start with the quick wins using the tools and setup guidance in your plan. You can put it into action with your team, or book a free follow-up call to talk through having me build it. The plan is yours either way. There's no obligation to hire me for anything else.
Call the Plainbuilt Line whenever it suits you, on the drive home or at 10pm on a Sunday. It's a voice agent designed to map what you tell it to what today's tools can actually fix, so it knows which answers are worth digging into. I go through every call myself and put your plan together within 48 hours.

Most of what's in your plan, your team can set up without me. If it turns up something bigger, I'll give you a fixed quote before anything starts.
Teams of about 5 to 50 without an in-house AI person: local service businesses, professional firms, and teams inside bigger companies. If you work alone, the free recommendation is probably the better place to start.
ChatGPT answers the question you ask. Most busywork never gets asked about, because it's spread across people and habits nobody has written down. The call digs that out. Then what you describe goes through a system I built for this one job. It scores each task by effort and payoff, matches it to tools that fit a team your size, and prices them at what they cost right now. I go through all of it before your plan goes out.
Yes, and it tells you so right at the start. Its questions are mapped to problems today's tools already solve, so the call goes straight at the work worth changing. I go through every call myself, and if something's unclear I follow up with you instead of guessing.
Nothing. Find 30 quiet minutes and describe your week the way you'd explain it to a new hire. It asks the questions and follows up. If you get cut off, call again.
If it doesn't find at least 5 hours a week your team could get back, I take one more pass. If it still falls short, you get your $499 back. The details are in the terms.
Not from me. Some recommendations are tools with their own monthly cost, and the plan lists every price so you can decide. A lot of it, your team can set up with the steps in the plan. If something needs more, I can quote it, but only if you ask.
No. If that ever changes for a tool, the plan says so right next to it.
It's used to build your plan and nothing else. I don't sell it, and only the few services that run the call and help me put your plan together ever touch it. Recordings are deleted within 90 days. The privacy page has the details.
Not for the assessment. That's just a conversation. If you hire me to build something later, we figure out exactly what I need to touch, and nothing more.
The Plainbuilt Line records the call, because that's how your plan gets built, and it tells you before you start. If we talk afterward, I only record if you're okay with it. Either way, it's used for your plan and nothing else. More on the privacy page.
Need help with something else? Maybe it's not the assessment, or your question isn't here. Email me at griffen@getplainbuilt.com and tell me what you're working on. I'll tell you straight whether I can help.
Tell me how your work actually runs and I'll email you one specific thing I'd change first. The more detail you give, the more useful my answer will be.
I'll read through your answers and email you one specific recommendation within two business days. If you'd rather not wait, the full assessment is up above.
About 30 minutes, whenever it suits you. If your plan doesn't find at least 5 hours a week to get back, you get your money back.
